● By purchasing a lesson or a package of lessons, or by using a trial (free) lesson, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions, and you automatically enter into the Public Contract for the Provision of Educational Services (Adhesion Contract). 1. General:● You become a Student of Language Lab and cannot be considered a client of any other individuals involved in the educational process (such as teachers).● Language Lab reserves the right to change a Student's teacher due to teacher contract termination, vacation, sick leave, or other legitimate reasons.● Language Lab may adjust the schedule of lessons or temporarily delay the provision of educational services in cases beyond its control, including but not limited to: force majeure events, public holidays, teacher illness or resignation, or technical problems with service providers.
2. Payments:● Prepayment is required for a package of at least 4 lessons before the lessons begin.● The purchased lesson package is valid for 12 months from the date of payment. Payments are non-refundable; however, packages may be transferred to another person with prior notification to the school administration, provided they are used within the same 12-month period.
3. Lesson Terms:Lesson Duration & Timing:● The trial lesson is free and lasts 30 minutes.● The standard duration of a paid lesson is 55 minutes.● All lessons are scheduled according to Kyiv time.● Students are responsible for being aware of the time difference if attending from a different time zone.
Cancellation Policy:● One-to-one lessons: You must reschedule or cancel at least 12 hours before the lesson start time; otherwise, the lesson will be charged in full.● Pair and group lessons: These lessons have a fixed schedule. If you are unable to attend, the lesson will still be held and billed as usual. Full lesson materials will be provided.If the entire group is unable to attend, the lesson may be rescheduled to a different day or time, provided at least 12 hours’ notice is given, subject to teacher availability.If the entire group needs to have a lesson online instead of in-person, notify us 1 day in advance.
Being Late:● Please notify the School Administration if you expect to be late.● Lateness does not extend the lesson duration.● If no notification is provided, the school will wait for the student for 15 minutes, after which the lesson will be considered conducted and billed as usual.
Materials:● The Provider develops and/or provides the Student with the necessary course materials, either by granting temporary access to relevant online resources or in printed form. ● These Materials are intended for your personal use only. Please do not share them with anyone else, so that everyone can benefit from the course as intended.
4. Communication:● All communication will be organized through two channels:1) School Administration (manager): for payments and other sensitive matters. Contact: +380669547224 (WhatsApp, Telegram) or .au.balegaugnal%40ofni Responses will be provided during office hours.
2) Lesson Coordination Chat: a chat will be created including the Student, Teacher, Head of Learning, and Manager for convenience. Please use this chat for all matters related to:● Homework● Lesson cancellations or rescheduling● Travel arrangements● Other lesson-related issues
Please limit all correspondence with the Teacher to this chat.
5. Concerns:● If you are not satisfied with your teacher or learning materials, please notify the School Administration. Necessary changes will be made within 2 weeks, although we will strive to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.● For any other concerns or issues, please inform us, and we will do our best to address them promptly.
6. Referral Program:● Students who refer a new Student to Language Lab will receive a complimentary lesson once the referred Student enrolls in a paid lesson package.
7. Customer Acknowledgment & Personal Data Consent● The Customer confirms they have been informed of the services offered, including their scope, quantity, and costs, and provides the necessary personal information, including name, phone number, email, nationality, and any other details requested by the Provider, giving voluntary consent for the processing of their (and/or the Student’s) personal data.● We reserve the right to take photos and videos during events for marketing purposes. If the Customer prefers not to be identified, they must notify the Provider in advance.
